Nomination papers for Annual Town Election due March 7

Annual Town Election for the Town of Millbury will be held April 25 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Those wishing to be on the ballot may pick up nomination papers at the Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall.

Nomination papers must be returned by March 7 at 5 p.m.

The 2017 ballot seats include:

Board of Selectmen – one three-year term

Board of Assessors – one three-year term

School Committee – one three-year term

Re-development Authority – one fiveyear term

Board of Health – one three-year term

Housing Authority – one three-year term; one four-year term

Planning Board – two three-year terms

Library Trustees – one two-year term, two three-year terms

Office hours for the Town Clerk are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Tuesdays until 7 p.m.
